Zo was ten years of age as of today and her parents got her hair dye. Some people probably thought her parents were bad parents for allowing her to express herself but they just wanted her children happy and thriving. Plus out wasn't like she didn't deserve something. She brought home a straight a report card and they provided hey if she did this, then shed be able to make her hair the color she wanted. Which was a beautiful red color. She still had to see andy and his family but she still had plenty of time to dye her hair and surprise him!
She was more than happy to not have normal ugly brown hair anymore! Now it was a luscious and richred, unique and pretty like herself. "bye mom," she said as she geared the cookies she baked for her best friends family and walked across the street and knocked on the door. She had a special knock so f they know when its hger. Three fast knocks followed by two knocks ten seconds apart.
"Andy Pandy I know your in there," she advanced being silly beside she liked messing with her friend. Zofia was a silly smart active person and andy was similar to her in lots of ways. "I want tho play birthday chess with you!"

Andy was pretty happy today. It was his best friend Zofia's birthday. She was 10, older than him, but he didn't care. He wined at his mother hopping up and down. "Mooooom! She'll be here soon! I need the flowers nowwww!" He whined like a worried little boy, which he was. These flowers needed to be perfect He wasn't going to go give his best friend, and the girl of his dreams, bad flowers. Especially not on her birthday! His mother just laughed, and finished putting together the flowers, before handing them to the bright eyed Andy.
He had her favorite candy bar too, and a balloon. He hurried to the table where the chess set lay, wrapping the balloon around the queen chess piece, and putting the flowers and candy in the center. He knew they would play a game of Chess, they did every year since he could remember.
He heard the knock and gasped, rushing over to the door. His blue eyes peaking through the mail opening. He saw the red hair, and smiled. "How do I know you are Zo?" He teased. "I don't believe it, you ruby haired impostor! Answer me a riddle and you shall pass, but if you are wrong! you'll get the boot! Muwahaha." Sure, he was silly, but he was a 9 year old boy who had a thing for drama. "Now, name as many numbers of Pi that you know, and if it's the correct amount of numbers My Zo knows, then you shall pass!" He let out a giggle.
