Eli never took art class before, nope. He wasn't allowed. His mother didn't like that he didn't, but under her fathers house, they had to follow her fathers rules. That meant Eli had to take the classes he approved up, join the clubs he approved of. The old guy was super old fashioned, and was rough with Eli at times, but Eli like a good boy respected him. His grandfather was the closest thing he had to a dad. His mother never re-married, no matter how many dates Eli's grandmother set her up with. So Eli never took an art class, or any type of creative class. It was hard "brain stdies" he took. So now that his grandfather wasn't here, Eli was taking art, too bad he didn't know what to do.
Sure the boy had ways of expressing himself, but through dance, or soccer. But give him paints, a pallet, brushes, and a canvas. Tell him to "Paint how he feels." Well the boy wasn't sure what he should do. So there he stood, in the art room, staring at a blank canvas, paints out on the pallet, and is brush unstained by any sort of hue but it;s natural white. He chewed at his lip, staring at the paint, then the brush, then the canvas, back to the brush. He wasn't good at art. How did you paint something without an image? Without measuring the size of everything and drawing it to the exact length? What was he suppose to do with just a pallet, brush, and a canvas? He let out a small sigh, and continued to stare.

Art was great. It was his favourite class. Art was easy, you just drew a picture or painted it or even better still, go abstract and crazy and just paint what you feel. That was the part he loved best. Just throwing on what he felt like throwing on and having the colors make sense despite no real concrete picture being there. It was an amazing feeling.
He walked into the classroom, expecting to finish a painting he had started for an art project, only to see Eli already in there. He smiled and walked up to him, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Hey you," he said, watching what he was doing. "What are you up to?" he asked, wondering what Eli was doing.. He had known him for some time and the guy had never really been the artsy type.
He moved over, setting his stuff up. Grabbing a new canvas for the next part of his project and setting it up. He moved over to get the paints he needed.. Or at least the colours he liked and thought would look good. He didn't even know if he would end up using all of them but it didn't matter right now. "You look like you could use some help," he told Eli as he stood next to him, paint brush in hand.

Eli heard someone come in, but was too fixed on the canvas, lost in thought. He was finally broken out of thought when he felt the peck on his cheek. He blinked and looked up at Kai before smiling. He shrugged before looking back at his blank canvas. "I'm...painting?" He said it in an unsure tone in his voice. Eli wasn't an artist, the most he had done was bake, and try to help his mother frost cupcakes, but he was horrible at it. He had more of a measured way of thinking, he couldn't just paint something. He needed a picture laid out, and perfect, so he could piece it like a puzzle. Otherwise he was clueless. He had little creative classes in his past, all going into hard studies of math and science, due to his grandfathers wishes.
He watched Kai set up. Kai knew what he was doing, and looked ready to do it, unlike Eli who was confused on what exactly he needed. Heck, the boy only had one paintbrush. He was in what you would call, Art 1. The beginner class. He snapped out of his zone mode when Kai spoke, and nodded. His lip jutting out in a pout. "I don't understand how to do it." He sighed, he hated not knowing how to do something. "I'm suppose to paint how I feel. How do I paint that? what do I paint?" He began to worry, he did get graded on his art. What if he failed? "I thought you took a picture and painted it." He set the paintbrush down in defeat. "I shouldn't have joined art, I have no creativity." He doubted himself when it came to this kind of stuff. But really, he just needed to expand his mindset. "Na uh-dduk-hae," he whined. The Korean phrase for What do I do? Korean wasn't Eli's native tongue, but whenever Kai was around, he seemed to just slip into it. It was good practice.

Kai smirked at Eli's answer. "You don't sound so sure about that," he pointed out and Eli's uncertainty was amusing. Painting was suppose to be easy and fun.. Occasionally annoying and frustrating when you had to get something right and everything was working against you but usually fun. Only Eli didn't exactly look like he was having fun.
Kai didn't there was much to understand.. "What are you suppose to do?" he asked, wondering if Eli had to paint something specific or not. "That's easy," he said with a smile, moving over to Eli. "You have creativity," he told him. Kai was more confident of it than he was. He smiled when Eli spoke Korean and stood behind him, his body pressed up against Eli's, hand's at the guy's waist as he whispered in his ear, "You stop thinking," he told him. Maybe a distraction would help him.
His hand moved over to Eli's waistband but not going any lower as he other hand moved up to Eli's and brought the brush down, dipping it in a random color as he kissed his neck. "Don't think, just do," he told him before going back to kissing his neck. Eli had paint on his brush, that was enough of a start, he just needed to put it on the canvas somewhere... He just needed to stop thinking and do it.

Eli sent a glare Kai's way when he said he didn't sound sure. And by glare, well you can imagine. Eli didn't really look mean when he did things like glaring. He just shook his head. "Probably because i'm not sure." He pouted. Kai said he had creativity and he just shook his head. "I don't think I do."
It wasn't long before Kai was behind Eli, and well the boy couldn't help but shiver from the mere body contact. Kai had that effect on him. "Stop..thinking." He said lightly. Sure, he could do that, right? He could stop thinking about it, but then he was thinking about Kai, and how close they were. Then his thoughts roamed to when Kai first got to this school and Eli gulped, his eyes got a little wider. Sure he could stop thinking of his art, but then he was thinking of Kai!
It didn't help when Kai started kissing his neck, and had his hands on Eli, he was driving the poor boy crazy already! He held his breath, and kind of felt like a limp noodle in Kai's arms, but well..he had to paint something right? He blinked and started breathing again. "Just..paint," He said in breathless realization. He knew what he felt right now, it was just hard to move his paintbrush up to the canvas right now. But he did, slowly, and made one shape in the pretty gold colored paint. A heart. He smiled, "Hows that?" He turned his head and looked at Kai, he didn't kiss him yet, but their lips were close. He just wanted Kai to look at what he did first, even if it wasn't much.

Kai just smiled back at him. It was cute to watch Eli so far out of his element like that. The guy was doubting himself but that was okay. Kai figured he could help with that so it was okay. "Well I think you do," he told him.
Kai smirked at the reaction he was getting from Eli, he even chuckled a little becaus it was cute. He seemed to be hokding his breath but that was okay. Kai was sure that the guy would start breathing again when he needed to. "Just.. paint," Kai repeated in a whisper when the boy started breathing again. He loved being able to get this reaction from him.
Kai grinned when he saw the paint on the canvas. "It's perfect," he said, it was a good start. "Now all you have to do is just fill it in," he told him, leaning in and kissing him, biting at his lip lgihtly, hands pulling him closer to get as much contact as possible.

Eli sighed. "Then you see more in me, then I see in myself." which was understandable. How much did one see of themselves? Not very much. "Then again, I see more in you then you see in yourself, so it works." He smiled at Kai. It was true, Kai thought down about himself, but eli could see something brighter with in.
Eli heard that chuckle, and he glared again, but it always looked cute when he did that. He couldn't fight how Kai made him feel, not anymore. He hid it all those times before, but now that the cat was out of the bag, well poor Eli was defenseless.
Eli's face brightened when Kai said it was perfect, he beamed at the compliment. It was perfect! and really if Kai said it was, then it had to be. He did something right, and like an one else who did something right, he felt great. "Fill...it in." he whispered like he was in a trance, and in a way he was in one. Kai kissed him, and automatically Eli kissed back, melting once more into Kai. He couldn't help it! He set the paintbrush down and wrapped his arms around Kai. Kissing back softly before pulling away, his lips barely leaving Kai's "Ah, I see now...so this is how you make art. Very fun..fun indeed," He teased before kissing Kai again. Obviously you couldn't paint a picture by kissing someone.

"And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that because I'm right," Kai said with a smirk. He really did think Eli was capable of anything he put his mind to and art shouldn't really be something he needed to worry about. "Sure.. I guess that works," Kai said, but then that mean admitting that Eli might be right when he saw those thingsa and he wasn't sure he wanted to admit that out loud.
Eli tried to glare at him again and Kai just kissed his cheek. Just cause he could and that glare was again, absolutely adorable. "That's all you need to do," Kai said, just reassuring him. He could go ahead and fill it in while kai kept himself amused by trying to distract him.. Okay so maybe it was counter productive, but it was fun and Eli was hot and why not?
Kai had no problems with Eli stopping just to keep kissing him. That was perfectly fine with him. That piece of art would get finished eventually and at least Eli had gotten started now. Kai just grinned. He wasn't going to argue that point. Art or otherwise, this was definitely fun and Kai just wrapped his arms around Eli, pulling him close again.

Eli raised a brow at Kai before sighing. "Well I guess if you're right." He stuck out his tongue and smiled. Eli nodded. "Of course it works, if I say it, then it usually works." He wasn't totally serious in the aspect of everything he says works, because well, it doesn't always. But he was serious about what he said about Kai. "You just won't admit it, because you don't believe it." He smiled, but he was still completely serious.
Eli was completely forgetting about his painting now, busy tying tongues with Kai, If you wanted to put it that way. He liked this, being close, and being held. He kissed more innocently, and kinder than Kai did, but he could always change that if he wanted. But opposites were good. Kai was the big tough guy, who didn't show his sensitive side much, and Eli was the soft and kind one, who never used anything against other people.
They were kissing, and Eli was completely happy with it, until a voice rand through the room. "Ahem. I believe this room is for art. Not a rink for tonsil hockey." The woman didn't sound angry, but amused. that didn't stop Eli form pulling away from Kai, and shying his face into his chest, his arms retracting from the others neck. His face beat red. He looked up at the art teacher, Miss Shae, or as some called her, Will. He smiled apologetically.
Miss Shae was a kind woman, she had tattoos all over her arms, and she looked rough around the edges, but didn't act it. She only smiled. "It's okay Eli, you can kiss you lovely boyfriend all you want. Just not in my art room. You two are burning up my paints," She teased warmly, sending a wink towards Kai - a favorite student of hers-. "Now get going. I'll clean this up for you." She didn't want to be the reason for ruining the mood, so she'd happily let them get on with it somewhere else. This entire experience was so embarrassing for Eli, his face burned a bright red, and he just hid his face into Kai's chest. He'd never been caught kissing someone before, not like that!
(you can say they left and stuff d: Eli is soooo embarrassed.)

"And you can't change my mind about it either," Kai told him. If Kai didn't want to believe it then that was the end of that. He wasn't easily going to be convinced. It was easy enough to get distracted by Eli. Kai had wanted him for two years and now that he had him, it was hard to let go, even for just a second.
Kai was far too distracted to notice the other person in the room until she spoke. He spoked immediately and turned to see who it was. Kai couldn't help the sheepish grin as he stood and striahgtened up. He loved art and it helped that the art teacher was nice too.
Kai chuckled a little at her comments. He knew how to not take things too seriously. "I was just helping," he told Miss Shae with a smile as he grabbed his jacket and headed for the door with Eli. "He just needed some inspiration," he said with a smirk as he left.

Eli ignored that comment and shrugged. "So you say." He spoke quietly before just forgetting the topic. He wanted Kai to see it, but he couldn't force him. It just made him a little sad.
Eli kind of just stayed silent, still rather shy around Miss Shae. Will just laughed and nodded. "Mhm..Inspiration." she shook her head and watched as the two boys left, going to the art supplies and putting it back.
Eli was behind Kai before he stopped walking and paused. He was completely embarrassed, but he couldn't help but laugh. "Kai Hyun Park. You are going to get me in trouble someday aren't you?" He glared playfully, a grin on his face. "And I will try so very hard to be mad at you, but probably fail."
"So now, you have to make up for this," he said in a smug tone. He wasn't serious only teasing. He stuck his tongue out at the other. It was kind of thrilling though. The idea of getting caught by a teacher doing something he shouldn't be doing. Yup, Kai was corrupting poor Eli's mind already.

It was funny how Eli was getting all shy and quiet. It was normal for him because he was probably just embarrassed but Kai certainly wasn't. He had no reason to be. So maybe he got caught, but he really wasn't doing anything wrong. Sure, it wasn't the right place but it wasn't like he was doing something criminal. Besides, Miss Shae could see the humour in it too.
Kai finally stopped when they were a good distance away from the classroom. He just smiled at Eli's words and shrugged. "At least you'll enjoy it," he said with a smirk. A little trouble wasn't so bad in his opinion.
He grinned and moved closer to kiss Eli innocently on the cheek. "You can try but yes you will always fail," he told him. "I guess you just can't get mad at me," he said, and there wasn't nothing wrong with that at all. It just meant that he would get away with a lot of things.
Kai looked almost devilish with that grin as he moved up close to Eli, pushing him back against the wall. They had only made it out into the hallway so technically they could still get caught out here but he didn't mind. If he were to be honest, Kai kind of had an exhibitionist streak in him.
"I think I can do that," he said, body pressed up against Eli's as he kissed his neck. Fingers tangled in his belt loops. He wouldn't do anything crazy but testing the limits was fine.. He didn't know what Eli would let him get away with.

Eli was shy about all of these things. He was taught that you shouldn't do things like this until, well..marriage I guess. His grandparents were that old fashioned. However his mother always told him he could do it when he found love. so now he was stuck between whether what he was doing should be done. His mother would probably be pleased, his grandparents, however would not be.
Eli pressed his lips together, but smiled a little. He just rolled his eyes. "Well of course I will, If i'm with you." He sighed happily. He was pretty much addicted to Kai. He wouldn't stop loving him, and well the feeling of being loved? Well it was simply amazing. So really, he didn't care about getting in trouble with Kai.
Eli liked it when Kai kissed his cheek, it was comforting. He let out a little laugh before sighing. "I guess I do fail at something." He was teasing, he knew he wasn't good at everything, but it was still funny. "And, I guess I can't, but then again there are so many years ahead to find out." He grinned mischievously.
Eli was against the wall now, and Kai was pressed against him. He couldn't help but giggle when he spoke. Kai always made him feel happy, and then he also showed him new things. Well, Eli wasn't going to pass this up. He still felt like doing something thrilling.
Eli wrapped his arms around Kai's waist and kissed his shoulder, closing his eyes a little before he thought of an idea. He pressed on Kai to back up. Grinning devilishly. "Could we go to the pool?" He asked hopefully. You could have lots of innocent, or not so innocent fun at a pool.

Kai just smiled back. Eli was so easy to manipulate.. Not that he was trying to manipulate him. The guy just seemed to easily go along with things but Kai was still careful about it. He wanted Eli but he wouldn't push him too far either. Kai didn't want to hurt him after all.
"At least in this case, failing is a good thing," he told him. Kai would still be sure to take good care of him. The last thing he wanted was to hurt the boy he cared so much about. "Yeah, I guess we do have all the time in the world," he said quietly, making a silent promise to stay with him. Kai didn't want anything else and he couldn't see any reason why he would ever want to leave Eli.
Kai was maybe getting a little carried away. Eli turned him on so much but he stopped when the boy indicated that he wanted him to. Kai would never go to far or force him into anything, even if he didn't want to stop. "The pool?" he asked, he was happy to stay right here but they couldn't really do much.. "Yeah, alright," he agreed, there would be more privacy there so it would work.

Eli giggled a little before nodding. "I guess it is! But don't people say if couples don't fight, then somethings wrong? I mean...are you suppose to fight?" It was the norm in society, what people got into their heads. People thought you needed to fight once. Like it was natural, but really it wasn't It was pointless. If you loved someone, you wouldn't want to fight them, and in order to not have a fight, you just had to talk. "I don't ever want to have a fight with you," The sandy blonde admitted softly.
Eli looked up at Kai and smiled brightly when he said that. His eyes were full of happiness. He never wanted to leave Kai, why would he want to? He loved him, but deep down, Eli still thought they wouldn't have forever. He worried about this since before he admitted his feelings to Kai. He believed he;d die like his father, in some crazy accident. He imagined the person he would be with - now Kai - sitting alone, like his mother, never loving again. Eli leaned in and hugged Kai, just wanting to soak in his warmth.
Eli was happy that Kai didn't push him, it made him feel safe. He trusted him. He smiled when Kai said sure to the pool, and off they went.
They arrived not long after, in their swim trunks, Eli wore a shirt, it was just more comfortable that way. No one seemed to be in the pool room, it was silent, and getting late. He tugged at Kai's hand, a small smile on his lips. He felt safe with Kai, but he could still remember drowning when he first got here. "I trust you," he said softly. Stating silently that he knew Kai would keep him safe.
