- father: Sergei Raskolnikov, 59, currently lives in America with his second wife. He is a very controling and hot tempered man.

- step-mother: Linda Raskolnikov: 38, house wife.
- sibling: Victor, 8, half-brother.
- sibling: Katya, 6, half-sister.
- uncle: Ivan Petrova, 57, Zilya's favourite relative. He had been more like a father to Zilya after Sergei left.
facts:
- Galina was 36 and Sergei was 42 when Zilya was born. When Zilya was 6, they got a divorce.
- When Zilya was 8, a 52 year old Sergei was married the American, Linda, and moved to American. They had two kids after that. Victor who is now 8 and Katya who is 6.
- Zilya's family had always had money and that had never been a problem for them. Her mother's fortune goes to her but only once she's turned 18.
- When Zilya was a toddler, she prefered dolls and toys for girls, when she was 4, she would play pretend and be a girl in her little games, she began to verbalize that she thought she should be a girl. Her father couldn't handle it but her mother was supportive. They strongly disagreed with what should be done about it and eventually split.
- As a pre-teen, Zilya looked so much like a girl, even without hormones that her mother got her into modelling. She was famous in Europe and her mother promised to let her start taking hormones when she was fifteen but died shortly after her fifteenth birthday and the idea was temporarily put on the shelf. After moving to America, it looked like it would never happen because her father would have to approve of it.
- When Zilya's mother died, she stayed with her uncle but her father had custody and moved her to America. He hadn't kept up with Zilya or her mother and had no idea that Zilya was living as a girl. He was shocked at what arrived at the airport but still took Zilya to the house, already starting to yell at her about how she was a boy and should act like one. Zilya had been on a long over night flight and didn't even get a chance to rest.
He was angry and called his wife from the car, telling her to take the kids out for the day. When they got home to the empty house, he yelled at Zilya some more, even got violent and burned most of her clothes. (thankfully Zilya had only brought a small bag with her, the rest of her things were in boxes in Russia that Ivan said he would send once she got settled. Zilya was locked in the guest room and told not to leave because she would be a bad influence on Victor and Katya. She cried herself to sleep that day. Linda would come in once or twice to talk to her while Sergei was at work. She had expected a son but was surprised to find Zilya who was more like a girl. She said that Sergei told her not to let Zilya speak to her two children but she did feel bad about it. Zilya had an ensuit so it wasn't too bad. She got meals brought up to her but couldn't leave her room for a couple of weeks. During this time she talked ot Linda a lot and decided that it would be better if she could leave and stay somewhere else. Linda found Pinewood and talked Sergei into letting Zilya got here. It was better than being locked in a room forever. Zilya is not at Pinewood, with only borrowed clothes that Linda managed to sneak into her bag. She's waiting for Ivan to send the rest. She managed to speak to him and let him know what happened. Ivan is pissed off at Sergei and is sending Zilya her things to Pinewood and has said that if she ever needs anything she should call him because Sergei was a good for nothing-Well, the rest isn't really safe to say around children.
