Hope's eyebrows rose up when his eyes drifted downwards, and put on a frown as he looked back up, "Hey! Eyes up, buddy," she said, putting it out there that she saw that and really didn't like that, "If I see that happen again, I won't be so nice." She really wouldn't be nice at all again, if that happened again. But she was being nice for now.
She couldn't help but let out a loud laugh as he took the shoe from her. It was hilarious! Honestly, the way he did it made her think that he just popped out of a comedy show or something, which she was definitely not against. He was amusing her. She rubbed her head for a moment, before nodding her head, "it's good. Not too much damage!" she said, putting on a smile.
She rose her eyebrows, again, at him momentarily when he asked about hurting himself, as if he didn't know what she was talking about. Which was weird in her mind, because he had just been going on about how he hurt his toe. But then he remembered and she nodded her head slowly, a grin on her lips. It was hard not to grin around him, his smile was contagious, "Yeah.. but you're being a champ about it!"
She scratched the top of her head, as if thinking about how he could get her in on the whole 'Wonderland' ordeal. It seemed funny, but she didn't know how well she would enjoy being called something that she wasn't, so she shook her head, "Nahh.. I don't think I'd fit in anywhere for that movie.. or book. she said, just pointing that out. She did her research.. besides, it did say at the beginning of the cartoon movie that it was adapted from the book.
Letting out a laugh, she pushed at his shoulders so he wouldn't hunch them over, "Don't do that, silly!" she said, but really it was funny. He looked silly doing that. She watched him as he talked about how he still had her hand, before biting back a smile, "You know, I don't usually let boys hold my hand for this long.. so you're lucky," she said, nodding her head at him. It was true, she didn't get close to many boys, so this was actually kind of weird for her. She gently slipped her hand out of his, before smiling up at him, "Sorry, Irish boy!"

"What? I'm paying attention and listening," he told her, despite his eyes being distracted. "How many guy do you know who can multitask like that?" He asked like this was a skill to be proud of. His eyes did eventually move back up though. He didn't need to piss her off or anything. Especially not when she was actually attractive and everything.
"You won't be so nice?!" he repeated. "But it's a compliment that I'd even want to look," he said, trying to convince her that staring there was a good thing. "It's me telling you with my eyes that you're a very attractive girl," he pointed out, eyes drifting back down again, "Especially right there," he said gesturing with his hands at the general area of her chest.
"Oh good," he said, about her head not being too badly hurt. "Last thing I want to do is give a crazy person a head injury and make it worse," he said with a grin, meaning for it to be a joke. "Not that I think you're crazy or anything," he said, trying to correct his mistake. "I just mean everyone here's probably crazy, including me!" he said, hoping to make it better but probably not helping his case very much.
"Of course I am!" he said with a grin. He was champ or all champs. "I'm just that amazing," he said, looking around again as though he needed an audience to experience his awesomeness. There were there of course, so he turned his attention back to Hope.
"Book?" he repeated, looking like the word itself was weird. "Who even reads those anymore?" he asked, certainly not him! Books.. pffttt. Movies maybe, youtube videos sure. Maybe if someone was talking about a book he might listen..
She pushed at his shoulders and Rory stood up straight again, still grinning at her because she was cute. "Why not? It'll make you seem less small," he said, not that he minded. He liked how little she was.
"Really?" he asked, looking back at the hand. "Well you should feel special too," he let her know. "I don't usually hold anyone's hand," he told her which was true. It was too 'chick flick romance movie' for him, but this was different. His eyes widened when she took her hand away. He looked like a traumatized child. "But whhy?" he asked like he had taken away his favorite toy.

Hope rolled her eyes slightly at him, because. well.. he was being a typical boy! Of course, she shouldn't expect anything less. She just didn't like it, never had. But now it was just worse for her, because now she never knew what to expect to happen. It was because she just didn't trust anyone anymore, "Just about any guy can do that," she said, nodding her head. At least, she thought.
"It's not a compliment!" she said, shaking her head with a frown, "at least, not to me! It makes a girl feel like a piece of meat," she said, watching him as his eyes drifted again. She didn't do anything at that point, but.. when he gestured with his hands towards her chest, she went to slap him. Lightly, but enough to get the message through to him. She just didn't like being looked at like that, "Please, stop."
She let out a light laugh, because she didn't really think much about being called a crazy person, especially when she knew that he was only joking around about it, "Chill. I know this place is meant for crazy people, I don't think much about being called crazy." she really didn't, because she was used to it by now. She said things like that too, not really being serious. Of course, not everyone else here is as forgiving as she is.
A small grin was placed on her lips as he talked about him just being so amazing, but she didn't say anything more about it. He knew how awesome he was!
Her eyebrows rose up in amusement as he talked about books, before raising her hand up slightly, "I do! I read books! They're good for you... expand your imagination and.. intelligence, you know." She didn't always read, but when she did it was to keep her mind off of things, and to go into a new world. She always put herself in the books, it was more fun that way.
She let out a small laugh when he said that, before shrugging her shoulders, "Maybe I don't mind being so small!"
She let a small smile come to her lips, before tilting her head to the side, "Oh really? Then I do feel special," she said, laughing a little at the whole moment they're talking about. When she had taken her hand away, she watched his face before letting out another laugh, "Because!"

"Really?" the Irish teenager asked as though daring her to prove her assumption. "Well I just do it better," he said with that crazy grin. He had to one up all those other guys if he was going to get anywhere with this beautiful girl.
"I personally wouldn't mind feeling like a piece of meat," he told her which was the truth. Any kind of attention was a good thing really. "Wow, violent," he said, taking a moment to recover even if it wasn't a hard slap. "Alright, fine, I'm sorry," he said, rolling his shoulders back, ready to focus. "Alright, blinders on," he said, his hands moving to indicate blinders as he stared straight at her. "You now have my full attention," he said with a grin and that was the end of that.
She did laugh though at his very silly joke. "Well good because I personally do take great offense to it," he said but the grin showed that he was only joking. "But actually, you do seem very normal which is only mildly disturbing because it makes me wonder what's actually wrong with you and I can't think of anything," he said. He was rambling on but it seemed normal enough because of the speed at which he spoke and there was that accent. It was sometimes hard to keep up but it just made him seem hyper.. Like he was maybe on drugs or something.
"Good for you? Utter lies!" he declared. "Same way they say vegetables are good for you but really it's not because it's full of pesticides and bugs," he said, but then bugs wouldn't really be on it with all the pesticides to kill them.. Dead bugs maybe..
"Good because I like it," he decided. Her smallness was definitely a good thing and his tallness.. Well, he would just have to put up with that.. Unless Seb had been right all along about Wonderland and really all you needed was to drink what said 'drink me' and eat what said 'eat me' to fix all of this up and even things out.
Rory at stared at his hand then hers and how they were oh so very far apart now. Then it was back up at her face when she said 'because'. "But now I'm all alone in this cruel, cruel world, what ever will I do!?" he asked all serious and hurt but it was over exaggerated because he was just being silly.
