This school was interesting, not something Andrew had expected really. It seemed like a prestigious and great school, and looked it, but Andrew was smart enough to know there were bad people around. He often read expressions, and the way people moved, something his father had taught him long ago. A shy smile crossed the bright eyed boys lips as he thought of his father. He missed the man greatly. It wasn't like every moment he thought of his father, that he got a flash back, and went into a panic attack. no, it wasn't completely like PTSD, but similar in ways.
The bright eyed boy held a tray in his hands, making his way to an empty table. He pushed his tray aside and grabbed his bag, taking out his books. One for history class, with a notebook, another was full of interesting quotes, and a third on war strategies of the 1800's. He placed them all in front of him, along with notebooks to take notes. He grabbed a carrot from his tray and nibbled on it, reading as he ate, jotting down notes. The boy was a nerd, and would forever stay one.

ruby loved all oppurtunities to people watch but it tended to be more fun with xavier. the always made stories and were silly and usually high as a kite. right now she was alone and pregnant. it sucked! however she was at school and dealing. she wrote xavier with a fake name because both her names were flagged. so she was ruby red thomas, zofia lenobia chavez, and brittany masterson. but who was the real her? science and dna results said she was zofia. her heart said she was ruby. common sense created brittany.
she didnt want to think about this anymore. too many waking hours were spent wondering. instead she was going to people watch while she ate. the dining hall was pretty much a cafeteria and the people were the same. some huddled together. others alone. one in particular got her attention. she loved finding the people who are alone with books. they were the ones who were usually messed with and needed a friend. but there was something else that drew her to him. it was familiarity and a sense of safety. she always had her guard up but just looking at him made her feel safe. plus he was cute and you just couldnt beat that.
she took her tray and sat down across from the oddly familiar boy. "hello," she said with a smile on her lips. "what are you reading?" the red haired beauty was curious because she needed a new book to read. "im ruby by the way."
notes: she wanted her andy xD

Andy was zooming away in one book in particular, the one about famous last words, it was so interesting reading them, some were sad, some were interesting, others boring or maybe funny. He hadn't noticed the girl until she spoke, and he umped a little, looking up at her. His breath hitched and he stared at her for a long moment, at least that's what it seemed like to him. He looked at those eyes, everything. There were some major differences, and definitely signs of maturity...most definitely there. He couldn't believe the only person he ever loved, the person he was closest to, and who had disappeared was standing in front of him. Zofia...in front of him!
He blinked, looking as if she just shocked him, and smiled, a nervous laugh escaping his lips, the same one he had from ages ago, though a bit deeper than when he was 12. "Uh sorry, Hello." HE smiled now, his bright blue eyes sparkled. He had found her! Though it didn't seem like she knew who he was. He opened up his mouth to answer her question, and then she said her name. Ruby? He was puzzled on the inside, she most definitely didn't remember him, but it made sense, they had been apart for so long. "Well it's nice to meet you Ruby. I'm Andrew, or Andy I guess, but only a few people call me that."(Aka Zofia and his siblings) He gave her a dazzling grin, going with the name, even if Zofia wanted to leave his lips.
He looked down at his book. "And It's nothing really, just a book about famous last words." He paused, "Did you know there was a man named Lord Henry Temple Palmerston, his last words were "Die, my dear Doctor, that's the last thing I shall do!" Which is kind of ironic in a way, because he could have meant it in the way of, I'm not going to die yet, but in reality it literally was the last thing he did, he said that, and died." Andy was babbling, and he seemed super excited, but he stopped and laughed nervously. "Er...sorry. I get, too enthusiastic sometimes..."
